New Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure at ROS ROCA – Tàrrega

ROS ROCA has expanded its facilities in Tàrrega with a new electric vehicle charging infrastructure, designed to meet the current needs of its fleet while allowing for future expansion.

The installation has a total capacity of 411.6 kW distributed across 14 charging points, with a dynamic load management system that optimises available power and coordinates vehicle charging with the facility’s photovoltaic generation.

JORFE has carried out the new EV charging infrastructure, including the manufacture and installation of a new electrical switchboard, new power supply and communication lines, and specific protection systems for the different charging points.

The installation has been designed and implemented with scalability in mind, ensuring that the infrastructure is ready to accommodate future expansion of the charging network.

One of the project’s key technical features is the incorporation of a DLM (Dynamic Load Management) system, which dynamically manages the power available for vehicle charging and automatically regulates it according to available solar generation and the maximum power consumption established for each time period.

As an authorised CIRCUTOR technical service provider, JORFE also carried out the initial commissioning and configuration of the DLM system, integrating the different charging points into the energy management system.

The result is a safe, efficient and scalable charging infrastructure, fully integrated with the facility’s energy management system and designed to adapt to ROS ROCA’s evolving electric mobility needs.
